We've got a package of 3 F-150s that are scheduled to build week of 10/6 and ship 9 days from finish which is putting us somewhere around late october. I'll send pics when they arrive.

Not sure what's going on but not sure if that is legit. I have been searching for anything on release to ship dates amd nothing. I got on to the AXZ plan website and it does not even show the 2009's as an option to search. I got onto the Ford Employees website and there is absolutely nothing about releasing the 2009's. So, I will take it for what it is. If it is legit, great, they are on their way but this is the internet. Those pics do look almost professional.

I just went to the Ford AXZ website again and searched dealer invertory and there are none at Watson Ford or any other dealer in the area for that matter.

Also, he says he was told it was built in Dearborn. DTP just started building them last week. It will take many weeks to get everything tweaked and a release from the engineers. Also, the window sticker says where it was built.

well if it's a KR, it can only come from KCAP...DTP does not make them.

From another website...Dated Oct. 3, 2008

The Dearborn, Mich.-based automaker on Thursday unveiled the new truck at its Kansas City Assembly Plant. The truck will be available at dealerships later this month.

He just posted more pictures up including a picture of the window sticker. Says final assembly was Kansas City

Well, If there is a pic of the window sticker than it must be legit. I didn't see the pic of the tag or temporary tag or dealer plate etc. Curious.

It has Watson Ford cardboard front and rear plates, not a temporary tag or dealer plate. Can't see if it's got a temporary tag in any of the windows. I dunno what MS uses for temp.

OK, I talked to a friend who is part of the launch team. He said they did release them last week. The day of the ceremony with all the VIPs. He said they are keeping it kinda quiet because of the economy and since KC is the only plant and only 1 shift they are shipping most of them to Texas and for some reason Mexico.
