4.4L diesel cometh: 2010 (pics and article)
No one can, but they don't rely on 1500 series pickups like Ford relies on the F150. And GM's diesel troubles have been pale in comparison to Ford's.
Doesn't the fact it based on facts to-date the Gn 4.5 will get better mpg surprise you give we're down on output? Lets at least be in first palce in one of those categories... Mind you the current duramax beats current PS in both those now too...
Wow speak of the devil... Looks like Ford will have a fix for that soon!

Ha
With all the talk about prices of gas and vehicles, maintenance, etc... it is no damn wonder so many people are stretched so financially thin in this country. Every one wants the next newest one and they think credit is an ok way to do this.
Here is one for ya......
We don't have ANY car payments.........
For all the guys who don't have truck notes, post now!!!!!

Maybe with a slightly modded 6.0 or 7.3 but from what i've read most people are getting 10-15 with the 6.4's.
I have no truck payment but who cares. It doesn't mean I have a financial edge over someone who has a payment. It's the overall picture that counts. Now, if someone posts who has no truck payment, is making six figures+, has a million dollars in the bank and will retire at the age of 40 with a passive income of $200k working 4 hours a week then I will start to be impressed.

Hard to believe but from the looks of this mule, the Super Duty may grow a bit bigger than the current truck to accommodate the larger displacement Scorpion diesel. The raised hood is taller across almost its entire width and it has an overbite, hanging slightly over the current model's big chrome grille. Our sources tell us the Scorpion-powered Super Duty will also receive a new 6-speed automatic transmission, to directly compete with General Motors' and Chrysler's 6-speed heavy duty pickups.
nada
All vehicles will need repairs at some point in their service life, but if you are making repairs MONTHLY then you should be driving something else. Its a matter of how you care for and maintain the vehicle.
My point is this. Ford has designed a vehicle of exceptional quality. Many of us here have seen how cars have improved in a single decade of driving. Many of us here have been driving for decades. Listen to THOSE guys. I do.
I like new things as much as the next guy, but I always hate to see good people struggle because of silly decisions. As for the age of the vehicle, my vehicle is mint baby. It runs just as smooth and quiet as the day I bought it. The transmission could stand a little work, but $2000 vs. $25000.........Someone else said it best, sack that car note away and watch your money make money for you. A vehicle will only depreciate in value and you will always have to put money into it, no matter how new, old, mint or ragged out it may be. Just trying to throw some wisdom out there.
Take it as you like.
