hat's the conference where we heard about the scoop on Ford's upcoming and long-rumored off-road Ford F-150 Raptor program. Well, there's a second scoop for us from the Ford forum fan-boys at F150Online, spotted by the quick-eyed folks at PUTC — the first unofficial shot of Ford's upcoming 4.4-liter V8 Diesel engine that we've heard will make it's way into the 2010 Ford F-150.

YAY recognition!!!

anyways its not a surprise to me that it will go into the E series b.c they are still running the 6.0L PSD in the E series because they cant find a way to fit the new 6.4L PSD into it

My calculations show that an owner would have to drive eleventy billion miles before the benifit of owning the diesel can pay for itself.
Okay, that was all my opinion... and this is coming from someone who loves diesels. I was in the market for one before I bought the F150.

Cheaper to put a Roush Charger on my 5.4 3v & it's numbers would trump that oil burner!...........

330/420 I expect to see the numbers get closer to 500 as it's release comes closer. The new DMAX has a reverse head design, and is rated 310/520, it will be in the 1500's, I have a great article if anyone wants some info and pics on it let me know.
