2009 F150 in my Neighborhood (pics)

Leaving my house today, I caught this 2009 F150 STX Styleside supercab siting at a house about 3 blocks from mine. I haven't been too impressed with the pictures that I have seen so far, but in person it looks really sharp. I live about 15 miles from the Claycomo Ford truck plant, and I'm guessing they are out testing the first plant runs. I actually saw the same truck last night with my wife while leaving a resteraunt. I was a little disapointed last night, because it happened too quickly to catch any pictures. I should have stopped by and asked more about the truck, but not knowing the guy, I didn't want to seem like a truck stalker. I may change my mind, and run by to see what he can tell me, specifically on the engine numbers. The pictures are the best, but hopefully someone will enjoy them.

It looks like it went from a truck to a fullsize SportTrac over the years.

WTH did Ford do? They killed it.

Yikes.

I'm keeping my good camera in the truck for now on. I drove by again today, and now the truck is gone. I hope that I can catch another look at it.

It was a flareside. I couldn't get a good picture of the bed due to the tree being in the way. So far the truck hasn't been back this weekend. Sorry, in my original post I mentioned that it was a style side, but it was not.

I think it looks tough. A little too much like a GMC front end from far away...

Yeah, I thought that it resembled the new GM front ends also. The truck hasn't been around since, but I'm still holding out hope of catching it again.

Man, I just saw another 2009. This one was pulling out of a neighborhood down the street from mine. It was a dark blue with silver on lower portion, regular cab, short bed. I think it was an XLT due to the big chrome grill. I had to go down the road before turning around to chase it, and unfortunately missed catching up to it. I'll go drive around the area later to see if I can catch it sitting in someone's driveway. I know that there are a few people that have been wanting to see a regular cab, so I'll do my best. I wish someone could clue me into why these are running around all of the sudden.
