It's too bad it's taken Ford so long to do this, Nissan's been offering it on the Titan since 2004.

There we go! I was wondering how long it would take for someone to be negative. For a second there I thought we might actually make it 5 replies without a single negative comment in a thread with absolutely positively no reason for a negative comment- but hey, who was I kidding? This is f150online...home of the negative nancy!

And we all know Nissan sells a sh**load of Titan's!

Oh, try this. Ford will be the FIRST (that's right, before anyone else) to offer a spray-in liner on a 3/4 ton and up truck. Ford, you are SOOOOOO freakin slow!

All 8 of those titans have been making Ford look bad with their bedliner.

First of all, Lumadar, get over yourself. I wasn't being negative, my point was that Ford could have done this years ago and truly been the first to offer it. Instead that distinction goes to Nissan and Ford will forever be second to the table. Now that Ford is making it available it's a sure bet that GMC and Dodge won't be far behind.

Get over myself? How was anything I said involving self pride? Make less sense while you're at it... oh wait, not possible.

I posted this in the Bedliner section last week.

https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=321839

From a Line-X installer:
I've had info on Tough Bed for about a year now. It was given to me by a Ford dealer.

If you've seen Nissan's spray-in bedliner, you've seen Ford's Tough Bed. It's about as thin as paper, texture sometimes is uneven, edges are sometimes ragged, and does not provide much protection. PPG (a paint company) makes Nissan and Ford's bedliner and I've repaired several Nissan bedliners.

Less than one year ago, Toff was approved by Ford as a licensed spray-on bedliner. However, in less than one year, Ford is yanking the deal.

^I'm confused by what that guy said, is the Ford liner going to made by "Toff" or not?

and then in that same post member "Tazzman" says he feels the Toff liner was pretty good and thicker than a Line-X he had on a previous truck?
