No problem. I guess they thought they were being sly by just changing their page and not showing the pics.

Were there any pictures of a KR interior? What about one with the Sat/Nav system? I just want to see my new truck.

This one here shows the nav. It is also called sdairbags_opt. I guess this means it has side air bags.

The more I look at the pictures, the more that interior grows on me. After seeing the '09 Dodge Ram it's gonna be a tough decision come trade-in time.

Argh, and I was so dead set on keeping my '04 for a long, long time.

I'll have to wait until I get to see one in person, but so far the '09 looks great.

No kidding! That thing is bad!! The exterior is nice too, they figured out how to hide a camera without making their badges stick out.

I won't be trading in my truck for the obvious reason of loving it till i die. But i do like that new FX4. They can keep the platinum it just looks stupid. I'm not crazy about the ice cream sandwhich shifter or the bazillion buttons. They should of put a computer control in the dash with all those functions available there.

I really like the lower part of the center console. The added bins forward of the shifter will be handier than a shirt pocket. The bin on top of the dash looks deeper too.

I compared the buttons on the current truck to the new dash and the number of buttons is very close. The difference is the layout, currently most of the buttons are smaller and grouped in either the HVAC controls or the radio. In the new truck the buttons are all separate. Also note that the only dash I have seen is on the Lariat/Platinum trucks with the auto climate controls. This adds an entire extra set of buttons that will be replaced by a few ***** on the lower trims.

Ford's going to the billion button/seperate display thing on a lot of their vehicles, like it or not. The aftermarket's probably gonna scream bloody murder, since replacement head units look about impossible without serious surgery on the dash, but in actual use, it's not a bad setup. A lot of those functions are voice activated too, with Sync, and/or with redundant steering wheel controls.

I want to see the Lariat front end. No honeycomb grille?

Looks great. FX4 by far the best.

Even the GM boys are liking it. A few comments from the GM forum:

I didn't know it was possible to put that much styling into a tailgate.

The outside is nice. Not perfect, but nice. I like that they changed the sheetmetal on the bed.

I am a big fan of the new interior. I especially like the door panels.
---

If by "less inviting" you meant "great, modern and superior", I agree.

Hell now even Dodge is ahead of GM, back to square 1.
---

Trailer sway mitigation, tailgate step, folding box steps and running boards, sync and the list goes on.... The Bar has been upped again... Wonderful looking truck inside and out, Great Job Ford

Don't forget 6-speed and powertrain upgrades.
---

GM better get their head out....the truck wars just got upped. Big time.
