I think the grille will be similiar to the new Super Duty.

Look at that new spy pic, and then compare it to the new Super Duty grille. It appears to have the same look and design, even the openings on either side of the center bars, just like the Super Duty. When comparing it to the other Ford vehicles grilles, it just doesn't match up to any of them besides the F250+. It will probably even say "F-150" on the top chrome, just like the "Super Duty". Can you say the same for the interior under the glove compartment? How cool would it be if it said "F-150 Lariat"?! You heard it here first.

I just hope it has a diesel and an integrated trailer brake controller like the Super Duty! I don't need a super duty but need an electric TBC and would LOVE a diesel F150! Bring it on Ford!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the record..

I like the setup of the new single cabs. I didnt at first, but that little door and extra room is actually really handy.

A Ford employee who is testing the new F-150 had this to say on another forum, "The new grill looks more like a Super Duty grill than a fusion style (at least in person)."

I haven't seen mine spit fire yet. I think this new F150 looks great. Maybe they are trying to make room for a little diesel engine (and all the cooling that seems to go with it). I hope it has the vents on the fenders like the Super Duty.

The only reason that the Super Duty has those vents is because of the extreme heat generated by the engine needed to pass the new EPA clean air regs.

They didn't want them to be there.

Just a little joke referring to the Recall that they had a very few of the 2008 Diesels. In Ford's words in the recall 07S49
"To prevent the occurrence of excessive heat in the exhaust system or potential flame from the tailpipe, a revised PCM calibration has been developed."

IMO, I really dont like the vents. Hopefully, if they really have to do it, theyll come up with something sleeker.

Actually it is a 3 bar grille. You count the openings not the physical bars. ie a jeep has a seven bar grille and has seven openings.

News at 11.
