Yes!

dbhost,

I agree with just about everything you suggest! I'd add an automatic transmission temperature gauge and make sure it got the beefiest frame available, regardless of wheelbase.

I don't care about having a diesel, but the 4V 5.4 350+ HP should be very doable and fairly fuel efficient as well. Very marketable as well. You are SPOT ON with all your other suggestions!

Limited slips, lockers, lower gear ratios, a MUST.

In my earlier post I suggested perhaps a SVT 4x4 Off Road, I DID NOT suggest they try and make a Lightning! I think that would be a really bad idea.

current v 10, reprogrammed to about 425 ponies, 650 ft lb. tq. lockers front/rear, 4:10, 4:35, 4:56 gear options, true 3 1/2 duals, cold air induction. stain proof seats throughout, auto up/down for all windows.....that'd be a killer f 150

Hmm I'd want:

- New 6.2L twin force twin stage turbo V8, min 425 Hp, tons of TQ
- 6 speed auto
- Telescoping mirrors that are now available.
- I'd like tow rating of mn 10,500 with Screw and still be able to have larger 18/20" wheels. (GM limits you to 17's w/top tow pkg)
- aux input in better location vs. top of dash
- higher quality feelin console shifter...
- A 4wd switch that a) lights up , and b) is not directly behind view of shifter when you don't have console shifter... (this goes for so many Fords)
- I'd prefer speedo in mddle of dash like Lariat and larger speedo. (I have FX4)
- Temp guage (in F in Canada)
- Fuel door flap that doesn;t break off as its cheap ****ty plastic.
- I'd like a FX4 with either bumpers that are not painted (to aviod rust) or are plastic in front and painted in rear liek new GM/Toyota.
- I'd like some kinda layer of protection that stops stones from hammering front bumper from the INSIDE. Plastic?
- I'd like same in rear so taillights are not hammered inside fender with rocks etc...
- I'd like at minimum them to keep solid sub/bass w/current auddiophile unit.
- I'd like to keep current door pocket drink holder at front of front door but add some rubber above where plastic drink rattles against hard plastic door panel.
- A cowl windshild relashionship that don't rattle in winter...
- Elimination of ice cube tray in cowl...
- I don't want the screw cab to be much larger. perfect size now. Unless inc length means behind the rear seat storage....

Axle Ratio 3.55:1
31-33 inch tall Cooper S/T al-terrain tires
Front torsen limited slip, Rear mechanical locker similar to chevy.
Overall height 78 inches
tow hooks front and rear
Beefy skidplates similar to dodge power wagon underneath
Solid Dana 44 HD front axle with coil springs
10.5 inch sterling rear

i'd just want the option for a crew cab 6.5' bed as well! and dual mechanical locker instead of the electronic one in the rear
