Question 04' Lightning???

any news about what could/will be? I have a 94' XLT and a 98' S/C XLT that I might put up for sale soon in order to grab a newer Lighting.

I would like to see them drop the V10 in there and supercharge it just to see what kind of times it would do with the V10 under the hood.

It would seem to me that based on the history, you may not see a 2004 Lightning, may be a jump to 2005 from 2003. I think that is what they did during the switch to the current body style... no?

I have heard there will not be a 2004 , but the 2005 will have a twin screw wiffle style charger , not a twin super charger. The wiffle style sounds cooler to me anyways .

Wink 2005 lighting

An iron block 4 valve 5.4 with a new twin screw Eaton supercharger is the powerplant for the new one. Should not take much to make 600hp with this one. I just watched a tweaked 2001 make 455 hp at the wheels. Yikes!

2005 Lightning

I have it from inside SVT where several options are being considered and the most likely would be lifted straight from the GT 40. If Dodge can do it, so can Ford. Independant would be nice but this one is only 50/50 at this point.
