Need Quick Help Guys Regarding Wheels
I'm looking to buy some 18x9 Method Race Wheels with the +18 offset and 5.75 back spacing. I have a 2.5in leveling kit on the front. The dealer I was gonna order from here locally said the factory said these wheels wouldn't work without a lift kit due to the back spacing of the wheels hitting the calipers. I was unaware of this!! Has anyone ran into this issue? I currently have stock wheels with 295/70/18 Toyo AT 2's. I'm needing some serious help with this before I spend $950 for nothing.

Those wheels wouldn't work with a lift kit since majority of them call for wheels with 5.5" of backspacing or less.
You'd have a better chance of them fitting a leveled/stock truck since oem wheels have a higher backspacing like them.
So I would avoid going back to the place that told you you'd need a lift kit for them to work.

Yup, the control arm angle will really be the deciding factor in whether they'll clear or not. But if you do ever decide to get a full suspension lift those wheels wouldn't work and you'd have to replace them.
I won't be getting a full suspension lift at all. Is there any way of knowing whether or not the wheels will clear? I don't want to order them and then not have them fit.

Besides trying to find someone with the exact same setupdown to all the options on your truck, go to a wheel And tire shop And try to test fit a 18" wheel with 5.75" of backspacing. It doesn't need to be the same width for a test fit, just diameter and backspacing need to match. Majority of shops will let you test fit one if you appear to be interested in purchasing. If the wheel can rotate freely and you can turn the steering wheel all the way you should be fine.
With the stock spindle, there won't be any issue hitting the caliper or spindle.
aftermarket Lifting might have issue.
Stock wheel are 8,5 , +44 which result in a 6'' of backspacing. Your 5,75'' will have 1/4" more room.
I would still change dealer since caliper pretty much only interfere with wheel diameter (18" ) and not with backspacing!
and since our truck can be run with 17".. never a 18" will touch the caliper!
