2007 Harley ?

Hey guys,

My old dealership took in a 07 Harley SuperCrew with 7,900(!) miles today.
My question is--did it come with the option of a dark tan, almost King Ranch colored lid cover? This truck has it, and it off-sets from the rest of the interior, which is black leather. I'm not looking to buy it, but I'm trying to help the salesman determine if it was a factory option, or the lid was recovered.

No it did not. The console lid in the harleys have a black leather cover with the harley badge on it.

Yeah, it was black leather with the chrome Harley insignia. Although, didn't they have a black and copper paint scheme available on the 07-08's? That might have had some different interior touches.

That's what I thought....in Googling, I found a black lid, a black lid with the serial plate, and a black/tan combo lid with the serial plate but no solid marble tan or brown lid.

Must've been recovered at some point.

Thanks for the assist

Definitely has black leather, with a big Harley badge and a production numbers. Sure it's a real Harley? Lol

Neighbor of mine bought a salvage 2011 XLT (fire on interior) and put a Harley interior in it, and even he got the right center console.

KMAC,

Methinks the previous owner wanted to keep the serial numbered plate before it went to auction and he just had the lid recovered, thinking no one would notice lol

It has a supercharger, and everything else seems correct.

That's certainly possible! I was just joking about it not being real haha. Seems pointless to take the plate/plaque that belongs to the truck.

How much? Might have to come down, swap mods in the parking lot, and simply drive it home and leave mine in place, that way you have a Harley looking truck .

I'll also swap my black Lariat leather center console lid over LOL!

Oh, and the 2008 Harley had the optional two tone brick color theme.

Don't kick me for not asking, but...I didn't lol

Honestly, because of the fact that two salespeople were looking at it awfully hard (already crunching numbers on it). And yeah, I saw the two-tone lid option, but this is an '07 and the lid is a one-tone marbled look, similar in color to a King Ranch cover minus the KR emblem.

Running the VIN would tell you if it were an actual Harley, no?

Yep but don't have time to get the VIN today, and didn't think to grab it and run it through the decoder here...

Edit: I grabbed the VIN off their website and it's a 7,990 mile Harley with a "unique" black leather console cover. I still cry foul on the cover tho cause it ain't nowhere near black lol
