If 200 + is the norm what is the lower temp with the Troyer upgrade ?

Here is what my temps looked like at there worst. Pulling a 23' trailer up a mountain grade with no trailer package. Single row radiator, stock trans cooler. 11,500 GCVW

I would think you have a problem aside from the cooler. Mind you, more air moving through the cooler is best, but the OEM HD cooler is pretty darned big. If Assuming you don't have any blockages, what else is going on such as fluids that could be causing this? How many miles on the trans?

I'm pretty sure Mercon V can go around 250°F without losing its lubrication properties. So if you're having transmission problems just above 200°, your transmission has an issue.

You have something else going on in that trans I suspect if you are getting slippage that early...
