Still own my 2008, has 117k miles now and with the price of trucks these days probably going to keep it and do timing chains, cam phasers and oil pump soon. Taking this entire rig to Pigeon Forge TN this weekend for a Pontiac Car show. Just came home from new tires and alignment.

towing my 99 Firehawk vert

I bought mine new in 2005, 200+k on the clock. still going strong but having some suspected electrical issues lately. Some minor mods on it, 2" level with 285/75r18 Nitto's on Ballistic Morax wheels, DynoMax cat-back. Have also installed Alpine ILX-W650 radio with backup cam and still planning some amp/speaker upgrades soon.

Pic is my son leaving for school on his 16th b-day

Likewise, I'll just keep fixing what breaks, the only things that have broken were a drivers' window regulator back in '15 or '16, and the FPDM in '16 or '17.
Currently, I have a little better than 170,000 miles, but inspite of this, I go out, turn the key, she starts first try despite having had to change all 8 COP's previously, multiple times (just love that Chinese junk), but when a COP does bad, it seems to always be the same ones, she starts running rough, the check engine light comes on, I take it to my brother (master mechanic with 5 certifications). He checks her out, tells me what part I need to pick up at NAPA, he installs it, I go on my merry way.
I took out the Kenwood head unit in favour of the stock 6 disc CD changer, returned most everything to original condition with the exceptions of a Raptor style grill, and a 2 inch leveling kit (absolutely HATE the nose down stance of stock trucks).
All this is done because not only would I have a new truck payment, I'd also have higher Virginia personal property tax.

Gasp, you're a better man than I, trusting your 16 year old truck to your 16 year old son.

I've still got my 2005 FX4. Engine just started with some not great noises though. Was hoping to keep it to the 20 year mark.

300,000+ miles

I just sold my 1997 F 150 with over 300.000 miles. Great truck, very low cost over the 23 years that I owned it. I found a 2007 King Ranch that I just had to have. I plan to keep it forever.

Bought my 2005 FX-4 F-150 in 2008 with 30,000 miles on the clock, currently have better than 167,000, so I think I've gotten my money's worth.
The only problems I've had are the cam phaser tic and the FPDM went out at 120,000 or so, aside from those two, not a problem, she still runs like a striped assed ape, starts on the first try and uses ZERO oil.
