Help!!!!!!!

I have a 2006 screw f150. driving to work today and about 10 blocks from the house the radio turned off... then the a/c.. then the gauges... then the locks and windows stopped... then my php programer shut off... then my blinkers and lights, by the time i pulled in to the parking lot at work my motor was barely running. now it wont even try to turn over. It did rain yesterday but i didn't go through any puddles out of the ordinary so I don't think it would have gotten wet. But regardless, now I'm stuck at work and have no vehicle.

Have you had the battery checked? Sounds as if it has died.

^ This. It sounds like the battery may have died because the alternator also died. Maybe? I'd get them both checked.

I checked the connections, they appeared fine. The battery itself is about 3 years old. It just scared me a little how everything died in a cascading affect going down the highway. Thanks for the suggestion though guys. Ill stick the charger on it and see if I can get a light or anything to come on, and if so ill go buy a new battery at lunch and check the alternator. luckily the truck got me to work, instead of leaving me on the side of the road.

Ran by autozone on my lunch break to have the battery and alt. checked. They said they could not get the battery to take a full charge, as well as with the truck running the alt. was only putting out 12 volts. so I don't know if its which one is causing the problem, if not both. In the event I need a new battery, what is a good one to go with now days? I do have off road lights and stereo amps to run so I'll need one that can handle that.

Sounds like you need both.

DieHard Platinum. Open your wallet wide.

I currently have a DieHard Platinum. checked the paper work last night and I still have 20 days left on the warranty. So worse case scenario, I need to buy a new alt. Thanks for the help guys.

The Platinum is an AGM battery and can be difficult to fully charge with a conventional charger. Take it over to Sears and have them check it out.

I did take it to sears and they fully charged it and said it was good. I then put it back in the truck and put a multi-meter on the alt. it read 13.5 volts with the motor idling and no electronics on. But as soon the A/C or similar was turned on the reading dropped to the low 12's. I went a head and ordered a new alt but it wont be in until Tuesday.... so I guess ill just keep driving my new 6.7 power stroke work truck until mine is fixed lol. hopefully the alt fixes it.

Did it go back to 13.5 when you cut the AC off?

Sounds similar to what happened to my wife's 2003 Expedition - ending up being the IAC valve. Just making sure you consider all possible issues.
