Just thought of something else.....try to clean your maf(mass air flow sensor) or replace...

fuel preasure?
are the plugs OEM?

Just a few thoughts that come to mine...

If it does it at initial acceleration it is the VCT solinoids. My truck did the same thing before they were replaced. As soon as you increase the rpm the sound goes away and the engine runs normal.

I just updated my post with what I learned from my rattling sound....

take a look at the timing cover pic, metal chain on aluminum timing cover will sound a lot like spark rattle (detonation). If your phasers are out of whack you may have a little detonation and the 93 could have helped with that but the remaining noise you hear could easily be a broken guide.

you might get a stethoscope or use a wooden dowel to see if the noise is coming from the timing cover....if it is, I would park the truck until you can get it in to replace the timing set.

Could be carboned up combustion chambers. How many miles are on the spark plugs?

My 08 FX4 has had this sound for a while now. Did you get the problem solved yet?
