I have a 2007 STX 4.2L Reg cab and im in the process of blacking it out. So far I've got harley heads installed, blacked tail lights, and a 2" level which i think makes a world of difference. Soon to come 33" Nitto Terra Graps and some duplicolor black wheel paint for my OEM rims. Im gonna keep doing work til everythings black or im out of money....hopefully not outta money. Suggestions very welcome !

Still waitin on some nice weather so I can paint my wheels, emblems and bed rail caps. I ve got a custom patriot decals bedside decal ive been itching to put on too...but i gotta wait til its blacked out to put the blackout stx decal on. Ordered a smittybilt light bar today and some hella black magic 500's ....can't wait to throw them on! This site is spending my money way too quick...its giving me too many mod ideas!

Ya I'm feeling the same way. Thought they d work initially but now I'm not too sure. Too light around the edges. Think I may go through liftedlariat to get some tinted stock tails or just nightshade some myself.

 

Great lookin truck, fellow STXer! I know I would've had to lose some options to get it, but I still wish my truck would have come with the sliding back glass. It just looks classier than the one-piece.

 

you should try to reverse the f150 emblems on the side of the truck make the f150 crome and the rest black like the truck will be

 

I'm actually doing just that. My bedside decal is black and dark shadow grey so to match I am going to go with black emblems with dark shadow grey lettering. Too bad patriot decals cant do the ford products anymore im just gonna have to mask the lettering. The look I'm goin for with the truck is that of a blackout stx edition from ford.

 

Got bored today so I decided I d paint my bed rails and f150 badges. Used krylon fusion satin black and the bedrails look better than brand new! Badges are alright....thinking about maybe swapping them for some 09-12 badges. Also picked up a toolbox for $40. Sanded it down and refinished it with spray on bedliner. Also added new hardware and she's good to go. Ill post up new progress pics soon!
