Got my lift installed!

Well, I finally got around to getting my skyjacker lift installed. It was a chore, and mostly done in the dark after work yesterday, so I didn't get many pics. Overall I'm satisfied with it, the back does sit a little higher than the front, but I really don't want to put the leveling kit back on top of my struts because it rides soooo much better without them. I'm going to give the AAL that came with the kit a try, but may swap them out for blocks. Let me know what you think.

Stock vs SkyJacker

Only thing I can't decide on is what size tire to go with!!!! So many choices, it gets to be annoying.

Very nice! At first I couldn't figure why your truck looked so high! But then saw you have a 3" BL installed. Great job...can't wait to see pics with 37's!

I looked at the trail grapplers, but the biggest they make in an 18" is a 35x12.50 That's why I'm leaning on the mud grapplers again. Any other suggestions for a 37" tire, preferably 13.50" wide for an 18??? Don't have the funds to step up to 20's

Probably Kumho KL71's.... They tend to cater to the smaller rims size... They didn't have 35's for 22's or 20's and I didn't have enough lift for 20's with 37's.....

Yep, checked into those too. Only 2 flotation sizes for 18's, 33's and 35's, both 12.50's

Just looked up the Federal Couragia's and the General Grabbers..... You are looking at slim pickings for tires...

Toyo has plenty of options...

Does anyone have any experience with the Toyo MT's? I had a set of 35x12.50x18 nitto mud grapplers that I got around 42,000 out of, and a set of 35x12.50x18 cooper stt's I got around 50,000 out of. I know the cooper and the Toyo are similar in pattern but I don't know a soul that runs them. Most everybody around my neck of the woods doesn't run larger tires and if they do run bigger grips, they run the mud grapplers.

Stick with what you know.. If you've had success with the muds then stick to it.. I'd like to change tires also but the Trails have have awesome tires so when it's time to replace them it will be with more trails but maybe in 37's....

I may even just stick with a 35. I'm still up in the air on tires

Toyo M/T in a 37/13.5/18 is what I'm stepping up to when my 35/12.5/18 BFG's wear out
