Then you've got nothing to worry about. All transmissions have that on the magnet.

Couple months ago I changed my fluid and filter in my tranny too. The magnet had light grey paste on it. Very normal. Reused the gasket, everything is good to go.

i payed roughly $185 for fluid flush on the tranny....i think it's a rip, next i'll be doing filter

I had mine done back in 09 at the dealer and it was about 150 for everything. Just had it done again at a independent shop for the same price.
