Im going to need to mount the front fenders and upper bumper pad to see where the lower bumper needs to be then I will know for sure if the frame rails need 2 or so inches chopped off or if the brackets need to be spaced forwards.

Ok I found these pics and you can see what I mean this first pic is an 04 frame notice how much extra metal protrudes in front of the bumper mounting points on the front of the frame

This is an 09 frame , see how short the front frame pieces are , and in relation to the tow hooks it looks almost like the mounting brackets might be pushed forward a hair. If they are it would require some fabbed spacers. No Biggie!

hopefully just needs to be spaced forward, not a fan of the idea of chopping 2" off of the frame... haha

That little bit of extra metal in front of the mounting points is about as needed as a foreskin, chop it off if you feel so inclined it wont hurt

what about tow hooks though? would have to retap some holes or what? I haven't done any measurements to see how far forward they are.

The tow hooks mounts are behind that piece of metal that might need to be chopped off so they wont be affected if you have to cut a little. If spacers are needed theyll be fine , I dont think the tow hooks will need to be moved ,it all depends on where the bumper is going to sit. Ill know soon. Watch this space

Well I got the front end parts today and guess what... all I got was the hood and 2 front fenders , no bumper as was promised. And let me tell you , these babies are going to need some work.....wooooo. They are rough! Pics tomorrow.

So I call McNeil racing, Mark answers , I say hey there's no front bumper in the package. I get the usual "Ill call you when I get to the office and find out what happened". So an hour passes , and I call again , I get the dad Perry McNeil on the phone and proceeded to let him know how I was being treated and how disappointed I was. I'm not sure if he knows whats going on or if he lets his sons do whatever they like but he sure knows how I feel now. Whats funny is when he answered he asked if I wanted to speak to Mike , lol , I said I thought he was fired , he said no hes here right now. I'm really getting the impression that this is a very Mickey Mouse operation as unprofessional as all get-out. So after blasting Perry a little I got a phone-call about an hour later saying they had just shipped the front bumper and I would have it in a couple of days ....I'm not holding my breath...beleeeve me!
