My 06 Screw project
Although Ive been around these forums forever Im kinda fresh on this one. Just thought Id start a thread about my truck build. I just bought a 2006 4x4 5.4 Supercrew for $11k with the sole intention of doing a raptor body build. Since I do paint and body for a living I wanted a new challenge. I have had the truck for 2 weeks now and I have already ordered just about everything. I ordered the Mcneil Racing Raptor hood, front fenders , rear bedsides , front upper bumper. I found a used lower bumper for about $250 cheaper shipped than a new one from ford. I already have my raptor heads ($250/set) and tailights ($150/set) I got from ford . I got some 09 up power mirrors on ebay that Im going to paint the caps on. I found a new 2010 take off tailgate. Im using a new from ford Raptor Grille. I bought (should have tuesday) a set of Fuel Octane 20x12 rims wrapped in Toyo Open Country M/T 35x12.5x20 rubber. The wider rim should make up for the 3 inch wider fenders and fit nicely. Im using the 3 inch leveling kit. I picked up a used FX4 gauge cluster (much prettier than the stock one) .Plans are to do a leatherseats.com custom 2 tone leather kit. Pics as I go.

Well after doing some research I discovered the Toyo Open Country MT's are rated for 8.5 10 and 11 inch wide rims. Im going to find out tommorrow if Tire Town will stand behind this if something crops up down the road before I take delivery.
PS after some more research , it has been done numerous times it seems , heres the same setup but on different fuel hostages 20x12
Here is a dealer selling the combo
