Another new guy - FX4 screw

Hey guys, I picked up my new to me F150 FX4 Super crew. It has 54,000km and was maintained very well. One of the injectors has been replaced, and the cat was also replaced at the time. Plan on changing the fuel filter this weekend.

First thing on my list of to-dos is the interior LED lights, black out taillights, HID headlights, and wheels/tires with a 2" levelling kit. Will probably do the gotts mod too. Is there anything you guys suggest?

I sold my 67 mustang and DD for this. I am extremely happy to have something functional that I will get good use out of, and have a bigger, more comfortable truck again.

Dan

If I had to do it again these are the mods I would do in order:

SCT Xcal3
CAI (or Gotts mod)
Dual Exhaust (w/tips & Hi-Flow Cats
Lift/Level Kit (I'd Go 4" Rancho if I had to do it again)
35" Tires (Be sure you have 3.73 or 4.10's though)
Bushwhacker Pocket Flares for your SCrew
Underdrive Pulleys
Troyer Perf Fans

Then any other appearance stuff

By the Way, what year is your truck, Im not seeing the pic but am sure its nice!

If Ontario allows it, I would get rid of the front plate and holder, and I would put on some good mud flaps for starters........nice looking ride! Enjoy!

I have a magnaflow 2.5 with 3" tip on it. I am pretty sure the truck hasnt been tuned for the exhaust, so that is something I will probably need to do.

The truck is a 2005

You can't tune mechanical physics. The only thing tuning does for exhaust is turn off rear O2 sensor monitoring, and a mild fuel & VCT adjustment for longtube headers. Exhaust cat-backs are not tune-able.

Darren is right....
none of the items I listed in my above post "require" a tune....but a tune is a must even without any other mods.

Nice looking truck. Make sure you take the truck in to the dealer for the airbag recall.

Welcome and good looking screw. If you are going to blackout the tails then might as well do those headlights as well
