NEED HELP ASAP!! Truck wont start

I have a 06 FX4 Screw. I installed HID Bi-xenon in my headlights today. I started it up this morning and drove it and it ran fine. Started it up twice about half way through the install. When it was finished i put everything together and went to start and all the truck does is turn over and turn over. Nothing else. I put an extra five gallons of gas from a jug in it. My driveway is on a steep slope. Didnt know if that would change anything. Other then the HIDs i did the fog light mod today and the switchbacks with the new flasher relay but i put both those back to stock and still nothing.

Please help. i need to get it running. i move back to ny Monday!

Forgot to add that when im trying to start it after you get a weird smell. its not a gas smell. much different

how loud are the fuel pumps in our truck? i can hear my moms on her trail blazer prime up like it should but i cant hear anything from the rear of my truck. that sounds like a bad pump but what would make it just go bad from sitting in my driveway. i have 110000 miles. how hard is it to change one out in a driveway?

I'd troubleshoot a little more before I assumed it was a fuel pump that needed replacing. Not exactly a "quicky" repair on these trucks, as you'll have to drop the tank, which may not be the easiest thing in the world to do in your driveway -- especially if you have a full tank of fuel. I'd be inclined to have it towed to a shop for a proper diagnosis rather than taking a stab at something like that -- but that's just me.....

check the fuses, all of them. Espically since you were in there. And check your fuel reset inside that same panel.

I have already checked all the fuses. Every single one of them. What is the fuel reset tho?

After searching for anything i read about the AFRP. I have a edge chrome in my truck and i switch it to this to see and i have a constant reading of 0 till i turn the truck over but it never goes about 10. So looks like a FPDM, fuel pump, or posible PCM.

If i have this correct the pcm sends the signal to the FPDM which in return sends a signal to the pump to initiate and so forth correct?

would be curios to know how you inetvertanely triggered the fuel pump cutoff. It is engaged in the event of an accident to stop the flow of fuel.

When I was in school we would play tricks on other guys in the auto shop class by wacking the inertia switches and tripping them. Their test vehicles wouldn't start. A fist is enough to set it off.

Yep, doesn't take much. I've seen cars towed in that had very little damage and wondered why they had it towed. Tripped the switch and the owner would have no idea why it wouldn't start after such a minor hit. I'm sure the tow truck driver knew why, but didn't want to lose a tow job.
