Progress Update:

- Clear lens reinstalled over painted section of headlight
- HID kit installed and ready to go
- Waiting on it to get dark so I can align the projectors

My retrofit kit didn't come with any installation instructions at all. Luckily I had installed one of the cheap DDM kits in the past so it wasn't a problem.

Waiting on the sun to go down so I can aim and seal them.

Teaser shot from wiring up the HIDs:

Progress Update:

- Sealing lights in about 2 minutes
- Lights aimed and leveled to the best of my ability at the moment. Will make final small adjustments tomorrow morning....

More teaser shots. The cutoff blows my mind.

Projectors, low beams, high beams. Hell you can tell a major difference between this and throwing an HID bulb into the F150 round reflectors. Just looking directly at it is not even blinding.

Compare this old shot with the above. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give stock halogens a 6 or 7, plug-n-play HID kits a 3, and retrofitted lights a 12.

Done with school. Actually just started my career on the 28th of March (2 weeks ago).

I'll have free time at night, but I don't think I would want to do this over and over. Takes quite some time to get everything right.

mblouir take your time don't rush the hardest part about retrofit is aiming them , seal them only if you 100% happy with them , I learn the hard way post some pic of cutoff from the distance

Definitely, man. I'll get better pics tomorrow morning.

The only thing that looked off was the rotation. It was slightly off, but our parking lot is slightly tilted for draining purposes, so I believe that's where it's coming from. If it's off it will only be a little bit, and I will use some washers to fix it. Very happy with how they turned out, though.

My last teaser shot. I'll try to take some tomorrow morning---have a wedding to go to today so I'll be swamped.

Without your write-up I wouldn't have had the ***** to do this.

Thanks, man, just saw that. Have another picture here that shows the whole truck. Was about to post it when I saw your link.
