truck has many trouble codes :( p0320

well i went to start my truck today and it ran fine, then quit, started it up again drove it awile then it quit, tried driving it and it would stall when going 50 mph, then it wouldnt restart at all, it would just automatically shut down, so i had the codes read and hear they are

p0320 Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit

p2106

p061c

the scan tool said that enine speed input circuit malfunction, does anyone know what is going on with this truck?

Engine RPM is determined by the crank sensor. I would start by seeing if you have signal from the crank sensor.

hmmmm, well its running great now, it must be a loose wire or some chaffing going on somewhere, it starts fine today and it prob wouldnt even start if the crank sensor was bad, im going to pop the hood and see if any wires are worn

well i talked to the previous owner and he said the truck did the same thing to him 2 years ago :0 lol, so it is definitely an intermittent problem, im going to replace the rear abs/speed sensor in the rear axle since that might be whats causing the problem, same thing happened to my dads 04fx4 and when they changed that it fixed the problem so i guess its worth a shot
