Need more power

I have a f-150 and purchased a camper trailer. I can pull it fine on flat roads but have trouble when it comes to hills. What should I do?

You can throw a lot of money at a truck that is supposed to yield more pulling power but the correct answer here is to increase the leverage of the of the engine to the ground. You can do that by going to shorter tires or you can change the axle ratio. The rest is just gimicktry and will not do anything but drain the wallet. Yer truck, yer money.

Edge Evolution programmer, Airraid cold air intake w/ throttle body spacer, and possibly a slightly higher gear ratio such as 3.88 or 4.11's this will probably run (w/o gears) around $800-$900...

What do you mean by trouble? is the trailer too heavy for your truck?
I have noticed alot of guys have a hard time getting use to the way these trucks stay in lower gears when towing up hills!
It is normal for these trucks to run at 4000+ RPM when towing up hills, It feels like it should shift and your gritting your teeth saying shift shift already! but the truth is that you really dont want it to shift like the older trucks, this creates heat and premature wear on the trans.
If your not towing too much weight, let it roll in a lower gear and higher RPM!

I just towed a 24ft 10k lb trailer over 550 miles, and yes it was more weight than I should of hauled but it went 75MPH easy! A lot of hills on that trip too! its hard to get use to the high RPM but its ok! its Normal!
