I have actually been surprised by the settlements some of the guys on the Ford truck forums have received when they totaled their trucks, or they were totaled by someone else's negligence. It depends who your insurance is with. I think it would be a lot easier to get a good settlement from your own insurance company than if you were a claimant against another company. (If your company is one of the DECENT ones).

Good luck and again, glad your ok. I have only totaled one vehicle, actually my son was hit and totaled our car. When the insurance guy called and offered a price, I was shocked by how high it was compared to what I thought would be offered. He must have been new because not only was it higher than all my research lead to, when I tried to negotiate higher (we were already above what I wanted) he then said I only have about a $1,000 more wiggle room - done deal I will take the wiggle room too! So good luck!

ha yeah, well the insurance company (pemco) OK'd it to be repaired last week but that was before they knew it was $17k to repair plus the $1,200 the state patrol wants to move the jersey barrier back 10 inches so its straight again

Sorry to hear you have to go through all this grief. Anymore I think the insurance companies are a big scam. You the client gets screwed when somthing like this happens. Keep us posted as to what else happens.

well, insurance called today and they are surprisingly going to fix it.

i was kind of hoping to get a good check back for them considering it totaled and possibly look at the new raptor

but looks like ill be staying with this one until something happens again or i drive it till it dies

well to bring this thread back up, they said it still has two weeks to go.

that will bring it to 2.5 months to fix it, pretty annoying they cant do it quicker. we should have had it towed to seattle
