On Saturday, Sept 4th,2010 I was traveling up Tacoma mall Blvd in Tacoma washington. A woman in a Ford Taurus pulled out right in front of me I was doing 35 MPH and had no time to to brake. I hit her driver-side front tire.
I think it may have totaled her car but am hoping my truck can be fixed.
I do love my truck!!!

Thanks Mud digger and 818f150, I am ok some pain in shoulders and neck but nothing permanent. the truck was towed from the impound yard to a collision repair shop today so hopefully tomorrow I will know more about what it will take to fix it up.
I have been worried about engine damage as I had replaced the exhaust manifolds with Banks Torque tubes. I hope they did not get hurt..

Hope you can get it fixed up. Did the engine compartment get any damage at all???

 

It didn't look too bad from the first picture, but the others are just carnage. If there's any frame or engine damage, it might get totalled.

 

Dang Dude, that just flat out sucks. Squeeze the insurance compnay a little though to make sure your truck gets fixed right and your medical gets taken care of. No matter what their first offer is, they ALWAYS have a little more. Take care and let us know how this comes out.

 

I had about the same amount of damage after my accident and it came out to just shy of 7500 bucks. So, assuming your truck is worth at least 10, it shouldn't be totalled, but everyone's insurance company is different.
