I own a 06 Lariet SCREW with 35,000 on it 4X4 with leather.
We have twins on te way and we need something different along with addding on to the house I need to sell my truck.
What should I be able to get for my truck (ballpark) ?

Well 06ford just got $20000 for his truck with over 100k on it on trade in. depending on the area I would say maybe $25000? That would be ballpark because I am in no way an expert on pricing these. Just look up the kbb and look on craigslist.
Trade in ammounts can be deceiving. Often a high trade figure is just a way of discounting the new vehicle on paper. I can't imagine any 2006 worth over $22,000. I only paid $22,000 for my fully loaded 2006 Lariat when I bought it in 2008 with only 9,000 miles on it. Frankly..I'd guess $20,000 if that but a quick check on KBB shows more so maybe I just got a deal?.
Is it the 5 1/2 or 6 1/2 foot bed?

^thanks for inputing more. I can only ballpark and I dont really know how the nbs are holding value and what not. I have the obs and can only ballpark them to with a little more accuracy. I think it just really depends on location.
I bought an '05 FX4 Scab with 60k for $17K at the end of March this year. An '06 with that low mileage would probably fetch around $20k. A dealer would ask $22k around here, maybe more, and somebody would pay that. But I'd say you should be able to get $20k for it. Assuming good condition, of course. It being a Screw, actually, it might go for about $21k.

Thanks guys !
It is in excellent condition and I have upgraded some stuff but it probably won't influance the price. I added a 2.5'' level kit , 305/55/20 **** Cepek tires (only 4000 miles on them) Rousch grill , And just last week added a Taunue cover.
I hate to have to sell it but things have changed with the twins on the way. This was a surprise to the both of us.
And yes 5.4

Funny, I just started a thread about this very thing!

Can't really trust KBB for accurate and seemingly reasonable numbers.
Don't sell it, in the long run, it will cost you less to keep it. Here's my threory and I know because I used to go through trucks every couple years. I would buy it, build it, be done with it, get bored, sell it for likley less than I had into it and then do it all over again. If you sell it, you will miss it, and when the twins are a couple of years old you will say to yourself, "Boy it would be nice to have that Screw to fit both the car seats in and the bed with the tonneau cover to load the strollers and plethora of baby crap you need to bring anytime you leave the house. My wife and I have 2 kids (named Ooops and God Damnit) and we love having the truck. We go to NC and SC a couple times a year and it is great having all the room.
If your reasons are purely financial, look into refinancing to lower your payment. You already dropped a couple grand in extras that in your own words, "probably won't influence the price". That being the case, you are out that money from the start. And, if you have owned your truck any length of time, you have already "taken the financial hit" from any dealer markups. In NY, stock trucks tend to fetch more money unless you find that one buyer that just has to have YOUR truck and in all my endevours, I have yet to find that buyer!
I only say this because I have a black and blue butt from all the times I have kicked myself for selling the truck that I just got done building. I know a quite few people that have sold vehicles, with good family intentions like you, only to realize later that the cost to ultimately replace it down the road is MUCH more.
Congrats on the twins!
Now go get a vasectomy before you have any more surprises!

Also any added items, like lift kits, rims, engine kits etc. generally do not add any value so don't count on it.
The best way to gauge what you are going to get is go ask, and then compare that value to what you see on lots for retail. Then you can gauge how far you can go.
I'm not looking to trade it in . It is fully paid for and I will sell it myself to help fund the addition to the house. I will get a cheaper ride for myself . I was hoping I could get $20,000 for my truck.
I bought my 05 FX4 Scab 6.5' in Oct 07 for 22,900 with tax and license...everything but leather, moonroof and power sliding rear and 38K mileage.
I can still get about 19K for it stock...and would take around 24-26K with the options that are on it now.
I would think you could fetch 20-22K....little more private party.

I usually DO NOT use KBB for pricing vehicles for sale. I use craigslist and autotrader to compare prices on similar vehicles in the area, as they are more indicitive of what the going price is in the area.
As far as selling your screw, I would only do it if money is really tight at this time. I would try every way possible to keep the truck, as it is a very family freindly truck. I know that I have sold many vehicles that I wish I had not sold later. I still kick myself for selling my all steel '37 Ford coupe for very little, and now the thing would be worth $$$$, not to mention my '68 390 GT Mustang (original Bullitt wannabe), and some others. I don't regret getting rid of any of my 'Brand X' vehicles.
