RUST BUCKET!!!!!!! Lots of pics!!

So after waiting a month and half my broker finally the truck i wanted heres what it looked it when i drove up.

Then i took a look underneath the truck and to my horror this is what i saw.....

Some of the body bushings

And then i looked in the fender wells and saw how the were dented in and looked like the whole bed is meesed up

I cant believe the guy got this truck for i havent agreed to buy it yet and he wants $20000 for it with 86000 miles. i was already way uncomfortable with miles but now the rust. its just stupid. just wanted yalls opinions. btw the truck was bought in New york and i live in houston. Thanks guys

screw the $800... 20k for 86k.. NO WAY! You can surly find something, idk with that mileage for around 14-15k.. and there's your $800 at least..

Would def walk away from this...

And why use a broker? Took me that long to find the truck I wanted, but I got everything I wanted out of it for $23k and it only had 40k mi and had a supercharger in it and a lot of mods already done. keep looking on Autotrader and other websites, or even on here and find a better ride..

Heck you could buy EffOneFifty's truck for $20k and its got a 12" lift kit and 40's..

Dang, I just bought a 70k mile '04 for $13,700. It was undercoated when the bedliner was sprayed in with the same stuff. I'd keep looking. For $20K you should be able to find something with less than 30-40k miles on it.

Yep, looks about right for a NY truck. Our vehicles rust to up here. I have the bed liner type stuff sprayed on the underside of the truck, and where it is, there's no problem. The driveshaft however is pretty rusted, however it's really thick metal and the rust is mostly cosmetic at this point. I've spent a lot of time down in Daleville, AL and was amazed at the junker cars from the 70's that still had no rust on them.

$20k? no freaking way. honestly, I would give him $10k for that truck.

(I bought my 06 screw in 2007, with 25k miles on it for $22k)

Walk away ... there are hundreds of good deals on these trucks. You should be looking in TX or AZ.

Pass on that one. Too much rust, too many miles, and too high a price. Look for an 08 if you're planning on spending 20K.

You guys are so spoiled down south. Up here in the rust belt (and they call it that for a good reason), that amount of rust is about right for that year truck. In fact my recently traded (and very well cared for) 2005 F-150 had more rust than that on it. Road salt does unimaginable things to vehicles up here.

As far as the price goes for that particular truck, somebody's smoking crack.
