Projector headlights with OEM look?

I've been wanting to upgrade my headlights for a while now and would love to put some HID's in there, but don't want the scatter effect that occurs with the factory lights when HID's are in there. I also can't stand the halo rings on every projector light I've seen. Any of you guys know of any project headlights without the halo rings that aren't ghetto?

To the best of my knowledge, there is no actual projector (real) headlight available for any year F-150. The only way to do it is to have the original (or aftermarket) headlight retrofitted with real HID projectors. There are a ton of advertisements out there for 'projector' headlights, but NONE of them are built to accept true HID lamps. The hid lamps will fit most of them, but you will have glare problems and very little if any cut-off

Thanks for the info sam1947. I like your truck it's set up real nice. I actually have been thinking about the lights that you have on yours but in the chrome housing not the black. Do you like them? Do you have the halo's hooked up or leave them off for a more stock look?

Actually I took those lights out and replaced them with those of "aggieforddriver". Now I have these out to "SickHid.com" for retrofitting with actual projectors and have a pair of Hellas in now for the time being while the others ore out. Also the grille has been replaced with a Saleen insert.

How much does the retrofit with real HIDs go for? Definitely post some pics when you get them on!

This costing me MANY $$ Bones I supplied the housings and paid for shipping and the cost is $400 for 2 1/2" Projectors and $500 with 3" projectors, that being said, I guess his work is stellar in quality. Anyway the website is SickHids.com in Cal. Will post Pics when I get them back

Are the Recon headlights true projectors? They are around 450 bucks for the pair, so I would hope so. Thinking about getting some of these for my 11 F350, but they do not have them for the 11's yet.
