Perhaps the Expedition engineers need to talk to the F150 engineers. The Expedition's fuel filter has nice buttons that requires NO tools. Hers took all of 5 mins to replace.
psshtt who wants that, thats way to easy!

^^i do!! i don't want to hassle with breaking clips! i don't see the reason behind paying $85+ on a fuel filter replacement at the dealer when it can done in 10 minutes

Well in the last week, I've gotten my exhaust installed, I've bid on some eBay stuff to start my next project, and I've amazed my boss in the fact that I carry tools around with me. Apparently most pizza drivers don't carry around a sawzall in their bed. Go figure...

I haven't done much to my 04 lately. Today I did loaded up the wifes luggage in the bed for her, and drove her to the airport. She is now on her way to China, Hong Kong, and Vietnam for 2 weeks for work. I did do a couple things to my 94 F150: I fixed the exhaust hanger, figured out my wind shield wiper problem and ordered a new MFS.

Other stuff I did this weekend:

After dropping my wife off this morning our 2.5 year old daughter and I changed oil, rotated tires and changed the fuel filter on her Focus. Being how small the Focus is the fuel filter was a PITA! It has the quick release fittings, which would be easy if you could actually get your whole hand up in there to work, it made the filter change on my 04 look very easy! I also made up my mind today that I really need to get a vehicle hoist in my garage or talk my old man into putting one into his shop.

And for the first time in almost 2 yrs I got my Yamaha Banshee out of the garage and running, it right up on the 2nd kick and runs like a top. Right now its on the trailer behind the 04, as soon as my daughter gets up from her nap we are going out to my parents and go for a little ride through the fields now that some of the crops are off.

Its been a very good and productive weekend! But will be even better if the Brewers and Packers both come away with wins today!!
