I would leave them, they look good on your truck!

Changed the fuel filter. It was dirty brown fuel out the back end. Also cleaned some weird Goo out of the glove box from previous owner. Lol. And re-torqued lug nuts after about 500 miles.

I changed the passenger rear door window regulator today. While I've never changed one on this model of truck, it was far simpler than I expected. Took about 35 minutes for the change. Would have been faster but the clip that holds the door latch cable gave me a fit. I used a Dorman lifetime warranty part rather than the Ford. The old one broke the cable at the connector. If you have one of these break, front or rear, you'll need metric and standard sockets but it's not a problem labor wise. I used a 1/4" drive set. You might even consider putting in new door speakers while you have it apart. Four screws, unhook it and reinstall is all there is to it for speakers.

I think I read the doorman ones seemed stronger? So far I haven't had any issues *knock on wood*

thanks, i cant either.

it did wierd out on me once today. i was driving along on flat road, gryphon shows me common gear, i was in 4th with the tq locked, started up a small hill so it started to just chug along, slowly loosing momentum (always does) so i goosed it a little, usually it will kickdown to 3rd and unlcok the converter, but it kicked down to 3rd and left the tq locked, it was a little jerk, so i thought, hmm thats odd, so i goosed it again, and it went down to 2nd and left the tq locked. then it realized what it was doing and unlocked. hasnt done it since. im getting paranoid about my transmission over here. i hope i just freaked it out.

i do have the shift points for 3-4 changed in my gryphon, i think i have it at +6 mph, and the tq lock point i think i left alone, so sometimes, it will run through 3rd, then shift to 4th and lock the tq all in one fluid motion. gonna fix the tune tomorrow and see what it does

Putting stereo system in. Wow. There is plenty of room but that also means so much work. It takes a while to get all these panels off and run the wiring clean.
