I used adhesion promoter on the plastic pieces prior to the basecoat, but did not use it before applying the clear coat. Its the clear coat that's flaking...

This time around I scuffed all painted pieces to remove as much clear coat as I could, applied primer then the black top coat. I used Rustoleum's plastic spray with texture. Looks great and if it doesnt hold up, I am buying new mirrors cause painting sucks!

I did my rear oval tint mod, re:Hawaiianboy. Made my delaminating oval refreshed, and helped my slow blackout of my truck closer to a reality...

looks sweet!

just been driving mine. got some sort of a rattle i cant find, its making me mad. also think i got some bad gas. im getting more of that faint pinging under load, and the truck doesent feel smooth at 2k and on. i actually noticed it because my floorboard vibrates a little bit when accelerating. in park if i rev it its smooth till around 1800-2000 and then it feels like its studdering. i drove a quarter tank out of it, then filled it with 93 octane bp and put seafoam in it. feels a little better. well find out next tank fill i guess. that or spark plug time i guess

post pics. you have the prettiest color f150 ever made, and you put tires on it and changed up your level size and no pics? you should know better by now.

let me know how you like the ride of those 5100s

I changed back to the stock headlights today. I guess I was just starting to get sick of the aftermarket ones I had. The stock ones look so much better with the Harley grille as well.

I'll add a pic tomorrow, as I didn't even pull it out of the garage today.
