Tried to pop the hood on my freshly repair truck, but got an unpleasant surprise. It wouldn't open. The gap between the bumper cover is too narrow to get my fingers in far enough to get enough leverage to release the safety latch.

On closer inspection, there are two set of hand sized scratches under the grille and on the bumper cover consistent with the workers trying to force the hood open. Meaning that they knew about the hood not opening properly before they gave it back to me.

And finally, the grille. There are still scuffs on the bars, even though they assured me that they repainted it and billed me for it.

So on Monday, they're going to be repainting my bumper cover, repainting my grille, and find out what is going on with the hood latch.

All this **** is from Abra autobody and glass, avoid this business.

Im in the process of repainting my faded flares.Figured I would see what's going on here while their drying.I wont be doing this mod again in cold weather.I promise you that,LOL!!!

Oh nothing major, just busted the driver side mirror all to hell, no big deal right?

Now I have a excuse to get the mirrors with the turn signals in them, or maybe just get a single replacement.

If I can find one.

 

I wiped the kids fingerprints and artwork from the inside back door glass once again.

 

I installed my wheel skin, a backup camera and a wheel skin on my wife's ford explorer sport trac........

 

Installed my black Westin tail light guards today. The truck is looking meaner every day.

 

got my back windows tinted 35 percent over the factory saftey glass. i love it. i wish ida done it sooner.

Dropped mine off at the body shop to correct the mistakes they made. They gave me a bloody Chrysler Town and Country as a rental!

 

called my dealer and got an apt. made to reflash my pcm for the engine flare up problems in 06-08 trucks.

anyone know real fast if the cam phaser problem was only 04-05 trucks or if its for all 3 valve 5.4's? im not having problems i dont think but am curious. when my truck first starts it sounds like rocks in the motor, but not nearly that bad, and once running for more than 10 seconds its quiet as can be.
