Looks good -- there are few things that feel better than a freshly waxed vehicle.....

Man -- a nice set of rims and tires would really complete that truck.....

Today I parked my truck and while walking noticed this 09+ xl. Why?

I also drove by an early 2000s super duty the other day. They had removed the ford emblem and put the gmc emblem it's in place. Caught my eye because it looked strange.

@ 08 XL, some folks are just plain...strange....

a ball joint, 2 UCAs and alignment. there goes 800 bucks....right after another 200, right before buying a new truck. ah well, she should be up to date for a while now....

Not today: but past month... .

Bilstein 5100 fr/rr with 1.25" lift in front and skyjacker softride add-a-leaf 1.5" lift added to rear [with 275/65r17 BF Goodrich TA already on].

Re-routing wiring for Sirius Onyx Plus tuner and cell phone stand.

I pulled the center instrument cluster panels and routed most of the wires internally up to the accessory tray on the dash, so that the dashboard would be less cluttered.

I am still working on this, as I have a add-on hard-wired power adaptor for this, but have yet to pull up a wiring schematic to find a switched wire. Once that is done I will have a very sano look, and the satellite tuner won't pull my eyes below the horizon when driving.

Pictures will be taken when project is finished.

OH: and RCI Metalworks engine/transmission skid plates are on order.

Muffler weld broke. Stupid flowcrapper. I didn't buy it it was on the truck when I bought the truck. Just lucky I didn't loose the tailpipes or anything. Could have been really bad.
Oh well time to change up the exhaust system

thanks!!

2002, 4.6 (my third 4.6), almost 133K, some very superficial surface rust underneath and on the doorsill. the silver is fairly fresh paint. but excellent for her age. I've known the truck personally for years, she's been babied and runs like a charm. tons of new stuff. very touchy, caught myself speeding several times and she was almost idling. she cost $3000, came with a few extras and 4 extra rims and tires

It's a great looking truck! And looks clean too. Only thing I'm not a huge fan of are the euro style tail lights. If I were you, I put the 2008+ super duty tails in there. Those would look great, fit perfectly and are pretty easy to install. However, if you like the tails, I mean no offense. Just an option/option. Congrats!

Here's a link in case you wanna check it out. http://www.f150forum.com/f6/08-super...p-step-185035/
