last 2 nights replaced the burned out 194 bulbs with LED's in dash cluster and heater/blower only to find out needed 2 37's or T5's to finish the cluster, fixed door panel lights and switched to LED's also had 1 left so put it in the license plate light... only to find out it was illegal , gotta change it back to clear.. Damn!
Still a few good days

To say thanks for being so faithful I decided to buy her a new radio.

Kenwood DDX471HD

Was surprised at how easy the install really was.

^ That's a fancier/newer version of the one I have! Easy install, responsive, been happy with it the 2 or so years I've had it. You'll (probably) love the HD radio and bluetooth (if it has that). Mine doesn't have either, but they're a must whenever I get another.

I removed the master power window switch. Disassembled and cleaned the contacts. Driver switch was not working on auto down and close. Contact was fouled with carbon from arcing, so cleaned and light sanding. Bent the metal contact under the rocker to get a better connection. Put it all back in and now all 4 windows work!

Had the Ford dealer put on some new 20" tires as well today. That hurt the wallet!

Earlier in the week I replaced the shifter, odometer and map light bulbs. Still working on getting the fogs to work though.

got a new windshield put in it a couple days ago, then went to get an inspection and my radiator was leaking everywhere so i had to put one of those in it. other than that just been driving it. 125k on it i guess i can put a rad in it, thats about the only problem ive had with it so far.

going to do quicklifts, matching rs9000s in the rear, new upper ca's paint calipers, new pads and rotors in the front here soon.

happy holidays everyone!

Haven't heard of a radiator yet, however i'm delighted to hear you have surpassed me in mileage. I'm at 124,8xx.

Nice! I bought my truck at 78k in 2011. High-ish miles for then, I actually wished I had not bought it and waited but the transmission in my 2004 had started to slip so I did not want to put a transmission in it only to lose money as I wanted to trade it in for a nicer model. My last service record at the dealership says, "12/19/13, 120,367mi." So, just about 4,433 miles added this year only . Best I ever did! It would have been 3,400 but my car's fuel pump went so I had to drive that a few weeks.

Truck was built in 2006 and sold in Oct 2006, so sitting at 124,8xx it averages out to 15,600 a year. I put 22k miles in it in 2011, a little less in 2012, and I think 9k in 2013, so this is a drastic improvement on preserving its value.

. Dwello being around 3,000 miles overall on his 2005 is flat out amazing. Sounds foolish but I love seeing low original miles on vehicles.

I've got 96k but she's (knock on wood) been really solid for me and I'd say she was in pretty darn good shape overall.
