KMAC, I know what you mean about the popularity. Hard to not notice them online. I do like the more mustangy exhaust note as well. There's not many around here though that have it right. But I do love the xr1 muffler. I also talked my brother into borla atak's for his recently acquired '10 camaro. He wasn't disappointed. Nice car, 590hp super charged 6.2. Still a chebby though.

Yeah, I have my rear O2s programmed out so I don't have a CEL. I really want to change my mid pipe up and get rid of my SIDO and the resonators after the header collectors. I'd love true duals, X pipe, and a pair of XR1s. I want more of a Mustang-type sound.

No sir, just the two. I finally sold my cats on Craigslist 2 weeks ago haha.
Don't know if this guy is still around, but if loud is your thing - this video is worth a look. Love the way this truck is set up - especially with the long tube headers and true duals.

That's a nice sound, I've been thinking of switching my SIDO magnaflow to a DIDO magnaflow mufflers with a magnaflow x pipe. Any comments?

That's DewserB's old truck!

I have OBX long tube headers, resonators in the new Y pipe right after the collectors, and a Roush (Borla) catback, oh and no cats. It's loud, and don't get me wrong, it sounds great, just isn't exactly the tone I'm looking for. But it's all 304 SS and too expensive to justify hacking it all up right now haha.

Baticus, once you go Borla, you never go back! I tell everyone I know to get a Borla and nothing else, unless they just REALLY don't want to drop the cash.

I do want to put straight pipe where the resonators are, because they hush a TON of noise at after 3000 RPM or so.

2.5" I'd be running 3" if I had a choice, but the mid pipe was made to attach to factory, so it's 2.5" off each bank and come together as 2.5" too. The catback portion bumps it to 3" and then 2.25" duals. Still got the 2.5" choking it though.

KMAC, borla is great. I ran a dyno max on my '00 and it was alright. Never will I run anything either than borla again.

So the cats.. They gone. Wow. Noise. Part throttle is great, wot is holy crap. It barks good. I'm going to give it a week or two and then decide if I want some high flows.

My brother had an old ford he ran 3'' pipe on. It was a 85 F250 with a 468 under the hood. I'm not opposed to getting Borla, myself, but I'm not looking at anything else besides them and Magnaflow. Had a slowmaster on an old truck of mine and hated it.

On a side note, looks like for this weekend I will be putting a few coats of wax on the truck this weekend.

Early model 200 had the 4 cats. Every F150 built after January 2005 had two larger ones. The last batch of '05s had two cats. Everything after of coarse has two cats.

Like a dream. I used them on my last truck as well. But I still had the pre-cats on that one. No issues yet. It's starting to kind of grow on me though. May end up leaving it without cats when I true dual it.

Replaced my Stereo with a Pioneer AVH200BT with new backup camera. What a deal did it all for just under $210. Sweet, touchscreen and DVD, USB, and great sound with Bluetooth for phone and Pandora for phone.

That's pretty good! I never expected them to work long term.

I had probably 80,000km on my '00 with the nf's. Never an issue. I will probably still get the rear o2's turned off regardless of whether I put high flows in or not.
