Backed it out garage, put it back in.
Yesterday I got the shaker 500 radio and tried putting it in. Everything worked except AM/FM, I believe the antenna connection has a broken wire, my original radio is all in tact. Whole point is to replace the broken CD changer as mine decided to quit. Need to get it fixed somehow. Wish I had money to put in a factory nav.

2005 FX4 with ~74,000 miles.
A very productive day:
- Swapped out the passenger side VCT solenoid using the latest upgraded part. The phaser tick is now gone.
- Installed a new serpentine belt tensioner and idler pullies. This fixed a bearing noise that had popped up about a month ago.
- Replaced all eight of the problematic 2005 fuel injectors with the latest parts. Injector noise is still about the same, but the truck feels much more responsive to throttle inputs now (and I shouldn't need to worry about one of the original injectors sticking open and hydrolocking my engine).
I had also wanted to replace the driver's side VCT solenoid, but I discovered the valve cover on my '05 had been replaced with an '07+ valve cover when it was repaired under warranty early in my truck's life due to a bad EGR valve. This is unfortunate because replacing the VCT solenoids is a relatively easy job if you have the original '05 valve covers, but now I'll have to pull the valve cover to get to the VCT solenoid. This was just a bit more than I wanted to do today... Fortunately, the passenger side was the noisy one!

Installed a horn blasters train horn on my day off, thing is crazy loud!
Drove it to work the past couple days. We got hit with an ice storm, car would not have had a chance. Now the truck is filthy. Bummer.

The car couldn't have made it?! haha mine has no option when it comes to salty roads.
That go's with saying I haven't seen Pennsylvania ice.

Traded it in for a new one!
My 07 was diagnosed with crank walk at 122k miles. The noise from the egine sounded like you were hitting a pipe with a hammer. Options were rebuild for $5k+, new long block for $8k, or trade it in. They made me a really good offer for the trade, so I went the new truck route. The 07 had become a money pit recently, and I was afraid that if I fixed the engine, something else would go, so it was time. Im hoping to get way more miles out of this new truck. This is my first new vehicle, so I'm excited to actually have a warranty. Love it so far.
Here's the details:
2014 F150 SCrew
STX w/ 201A Package
5.0L V8 Auto 4x4
3.55 elocker rear axle

You got one of the supercrew STX's! Nice. That's what I would be getting if I wanted a '14
Got her "stuck" for the first time ever and put her to work building a fence. That's the only time she's ever seen mud in the 2 years I've had her. The girls weren't too happy about it, but me and my buddy got it out. I thought it was a good idea to go on a path that runs through a corn field . . .
My fake "all terrains" don't clean out mud for crap
