And just used Plasti-dip instead. Good clean and dry then a few layers. It does have a slightly rubberised effect i suppose but it doesnt look rubbery once painted. Does that even make sense? It looks like new though and i am very happy with the results.

Just to finish it off. The old ones were very badly faded. A nice effect for not a lot of money all told and that includes trans-atlantic shipping!

Dash and electronics died on my today. Alternators bad. Funny thing is it had a new one installed at 73k miles in 2010. So this will be its 3rd.. Dropped it off for a new one. Should have it back tomorrow. Wonderful.
Hauled the 97 Ford Aspire to the scrap yard. I bought it to keep miles and salt off my truck but ended up putting more miles and getting more salt on the truck running and getting parts for the car
