Well it did save me money by learning that I could just rotate my rotors instead of replacing them, but I kinda knew that.

Oh man, get all your truck work done BEFORE popping the question!! Saving money for the ring, then wedding then honeymoon means no new mods for the truck for a LONG time!! Plus if does get good and pissed at all your purchases, preparing for a wedding will put her mind on something else!

Congrats on the truck and the future missus!!

My idea is to save the cash in a separate account and then a couple days after asking go out and buy all this stuff. Im hoping she will be happy enough to have the ring that she wont even care about it.

OR, it could all backfire in my face like most of my schemes do.

However I did pull the trigger on a Gryphon CS today. Gonna tell her I got it from a friend, which I did, Corey rocks!

If you want to save cash then get off this site. This site like many others does nothing but promote empty wallets and arguments with the wife. It's suggested you click the red "X" at the top of your screen now before you lose control.

The clutch packs 3 dealers said needed to be changed.

a free way to "cut"a 3rd key

Motor mounts that where supposed to make my beast idle smoother

Katzskins Leather which 2 shops here said around 2k installed and here I got a link to a online dealer AND a Motorz video even showing me how to install them saving me over 1200 bucks

A source of reference so I can walk into a shop/dealer and tell THEM what's

's up as a result of what I gleaned from this site ( priceless by the way)

If this keeps up, I can trade on my 06 screw on a 2010 later this year!!!

Thanks to all those who have helped!!! I will be faxing out Canadian Beer to y'all shortly

Nice...will that be LaBatt's or Molsen?

love this thread; well done, my friend. the bit about your girl having a tough time getting in/out is classic.

take it from a married man with 2 little girls: wheels & tires next. that will probably be one of your biggest purchases and you need to get it done.

I have a set of Nitto TG and black XD monsters on the way; can't freaking wait.

I went there when it was called TSTI back in 83-84. I took machine shop operations. Had a great time while I was up there.

nice progress with your truck. be careful with the soon to be wife. I ended up "blowing" about $5,000 on my last F-150 due to suggestions and ideas I got from here.

My wife was annoyed with me for awhile. But she got over it eventually.
