IM JUST GONNA BE HONEST DODGES ARE PRETTY FAST. BUT THE THE NEWER MODEL ONES ARE NOT NEARLY AS FAST AS PPLE SAYS THEY R. MY DADS GOT AN 08 BIGHORN DODGE RAM 4 DOOR. ITS PRETTY QUICK BUT A TITAN OR A TUNDRA WOULD SMOKE IT. ON THE OTHER HAND MY BEST FRIEND HAS AN 04 REG CAB 5.7 HEMI TRUCK WITH A BULLY DOG CHIP FULL BORLA EXHAUST, GIBSON HEADERS, AND A k&n CAI ANDF THAT TRUCK WILL MOVE. ITS ONE OF THE FASTEST TRUCKS ROUND WHERE I LIVE. I NO WEVE SMOKED A 2007 OR 08 JOE GIBBS EDITION SILVERADO, AND HE'LL EAT THE NEW MUSTANGS ALIVE. BUT ON THE OTHER HAND, A GUY I GO TO SCHOOL WITH HAS AN 08 REG CAB 5.7 RAM THAT HAS A 6 INCH LIFT ANS 18 INCH TIRES THAT R PRETTY BIG. BUT ITS AN EVERY DAY DRIVER SO THEY ARENT TOO BIG.....I THINK THE MAYBE 33'S OR 35'S. BUT ANYWAYS, MY TRUCKS AN 08 REG CAB 4.2L MANUAL WITH A GIBSON EXHAUST, K&N CAI, AND A CORTEX. U GUYS MAY NOT BVELIEVE ME, BUT I CAN TKE HIM. I CANT SMOKE HIM BUT I OUTRUNNED HIM BY LIKE HALF A CAR LENGTH UP TO 80. I RACED HIAM BEFORE THE CORTEX AND HE BARELY TOOK ME. THE CORTEX JUST GAVE ME THAT LITTLE BIT OF POWER I NEEDED. SO YES IVE OUTRUN A HEMI. I GUESS THAT LIFT JUST RLLY MESSES WITH THE PERFORMANCE OF TRUCKS. IDK BUT ITS PRETTY COOL I OUTRUN HIM. BUT THERES NO WAY IN EARTH I CAN EVEN COMPETE WITH BY BF'S 04 HEMI. THAT TRUCK IS WICKED... THATS MY STORY :

p.s ILL HAVE PICKS OF MY TRUCK UP SOON. AS SOON AS IT GETS HOT ENOUGH OUTSIDE TO WASH IT AND GET IT CLEANED UP. I LUV MY TRUCK. ITS BLACKED OUT ALL EXCEPT THE TAILLIGHTS, WHICH I PLAN ON DOIN WITHIN A COUPLE OF WEEKS. JUST A REMINDER....

Yeah I traded in a 2004 regular cab hemi 2wd sport. It was a fast beast. I loved the truck. I had to get something a lil more family friendly. I love my screw, but I know from experience that I dont want to race a hemi. Now that I have my gryphon and CAI , I may give a crew cab hemi a good race, but a reg. cab no way.

What would this accomplish?. It has nothing to do with the trucks, and everything to do with traction. I am talking from a drag race.
And racing for rice-burners? Come on man..lol. I know my car DEFINITELY is not a rice burner, nor the several other members with mustangs, and other American muscle cars that drag race....

What is exactly your truck vs his truck, quadcab or reg cab or 4wd or 2wd .. and yours? I would not rule you out on this depending on what size each truck is, esp with the tuner.. it can be done.
Dont think a stock Hemi is going to beat a newer GT Mustang unless your racing a dated GT and your a 2wd RCSB hemi at that... my buddy got a regcab short bed 2wd hemi and his is def quick w/ his few things done but I think he said he could keep with and beat some GTs depending on year. They dont have the aftermarket opportunities that 5.4s do though unless though go deaper.. like internal.. You could spend few bucks and def have him.
