That looks great. What do you think of them? First impressions? What bulbs did you end up getting?

Phenominal! I got the same bulbs you got for the license plate and maps. But i got the 4 HP dome. I recently placed another order. For the 20 led in white and red for the dome just so i have them. I also ordered the switchbacks and cargo bulbs. Should be here Saturday if i'm lucky.

This may be the same question asked before, but has anyone replaced the reverse tail light bulbs with V-leds? If so, what part #?

I was thinking I wanted to change the reverse light in my Hella LED tails because it's not LED. Is it changeable?

The reverse lights are changeable. When you changed to the Hella tails, you used the same reverse light that was in the stock tail light assembly. Here are the LEDs you need (assuming you want 6k): 921_19_HP_W

Hope this helps.

V Leds dont mess around. I just ordered mine on Wednesday and got them in the mail today. Just got done putting them in and they look good but it's still pretty bright out so I havent gotten the full effect yet, but from what I see now they look great! The cargo lights are super bright! One of the best things I've ever bought for a vehicle. Thanks for all the help guys! I can imagine the bank accounts gonna get lower and lower since Ive been doing a lot of reading in this forum. I bought new tires on Monday, and ordered my Billsteins Tuesday. Transformation thread coming in the next few weeks!

When I changed to Hella led tails, the reverse bulbs were already in there, I didn't add them... but thanks for the info, how bright are those?

Wow. Sorry about that. You might want to give Hella a call and find out what bulb they use. I'm surprised they didn't just switch out. As far as light output, I've only got them in my cargo lights, but they are every bit as bright as the filaments that they replaced. I will be ordering another set for my reverse lights soon.

My Hella tails came with the bulbs already in there, and yes it can be changed. You just have to take out a few screws and you can swap the bulb. I haven't made the swap to LEDs, but I did switch to Silverstar bulbs when I first got the Hella tails. They are 921 bulbs.

[QUOTE=DarkShadowSTX;4283672]Yes, the flasher corrects all the flashing issues. I didn't buy it from them, I got the resistor set when I bought my switchbacks but didn't put it in. I found out about the flasher afterward and was able to find it at Advance Auto Parts for almost the same price. The flasher from Vleds should work so you can order everything at the same time.

Location is under the steering wheel by that metal bracket that seems oddly placed

I have trolled this site for almost 6 yrs now. Decided it was time to join.

I was going to buy the switchback turn signals, and resistors, but you said you just need the new flasher module.

My question is, does the flasher module work if you just replace the front turn signals, or do you have to replace all 4?

Thanks, and all of your trucks look awesome.

The electronic flasher works properly with any lights or combination of LED and incondescent.
