Blackout headlights: Did it myself

So I painted my headlights with the help of one the how to's i found online. It was kind of a pain in the *** using the oven to melt the black sealant but after a couple hours per headlight I finished them up. Definaltly looks better and saved some money. Heres some before and after pics

Took her down to the ocean for some fun after they were done to test out the new wheels and tires

Looks great! What size tires are those?

Also is that a dying whale in the background?

Those are 275/70/18 BFGs...and im pretty sure its drift wood or something I didn't notice a dying whale lol

As for the headlights I put them in the oven for 10 minutes then pryed at the clear cover then 10 more minutes. The plastic will melt if its in the oven for any longer than 10 minutes. I think I put it back in 7 or 8 times so it is a time consuming process but once the clear cover is off its smooth sailing.

I was just gunna say you need to do the fogs too.
They are way easier to get apart then the headlights. 1 bake and they should be off. The taping off the reflector is the hard part. Make sure you get as much of the stickiness(?) off the tape as you can, I used my shirt and the carpet so none of the chrome would come off. Got impatient taping off the 2nd light and when I took the tape off I ripped of some big spots of chrome.

Pics in my album too.
