So it was just a case of the plugs not being fully seated? I had my plugs changed about 2 weeks ago and am experiencing the same "gas smell inside cab" issue. I only smell it when I'm sitting idle with the air on. I don't see any visible leaks or anything but the smell is pretty strong. I took it back to the Ford dealer this morning......hopefully they can figure out the problem.

Yep, 99% of the time its just a plug that didn't fully seat. It's happened to me a few times too.

I mentioned something to the mechanic at lunch time but he just called me and said they couldn't find anything and he nor another guy at the shop could smell gas. Anyhow, I'm going to go pick it up in the morning and drive it for the rest of the week since I'm going out of town. I'll probably end up taking it back to the Ford dealer next Monday.

Nope, that coverage expired after 11 years which would be 2016. If you have leaky injectors now you are on your own.

Thanks for all the input -

Nope! Did mine the 1st time in 2010 and replaced them in 2018... no issues with drivability or removal/install
