It certainly was for me. If you do not care for the gauges, then the Xcal3 is great. I use my gauges constantly.

So technically, if you don't know it, then you're not lean.... right?

No, you are not lean enough to ping, so you are doing a little less damage or, you have bad hearing.

Ok bring back an OLD thread!!

Just got my Granatelli CAI w/ MAF and did everything right... Tried to drive it and my truck went into ENGINE FAIL SAFE mode Please help!! I reflashed my truck back to stock and then redid the tune to Stage 2 Towing. I'm going to try and set it back to stock and see if that does anything. Would taking out the MAF and putting in the stock one be better??

HELP!!!!

Don't ever use an Aftermarket maf unless the truck is tuned for it....put the stock one back in...

Put the truck back to stock and drive it 50-100 miles....
Then reflash to level 2

If it happens again put back to stock....
Disconnect the battery
clean the tb...
Reconnect the battery...
Drive 50-100 miles...
Reflash to level 2 again...

If you haven't already looked into custom tunes and add that to the list also...
