40's will be awesome. Sad but I've gotten used to my 37's, most times I look at my truck it doesn't look that big anymore. When the lift first went on I thought it was huge, now that I've driven it everyday for a year it just seems ordinary. A couple more inches of lift and a couple more inches of tire has to look pretty wild though

Yah i was trying to figure out if i should go toyos again or Nittos, ive gotten 60k miles out of my 37toyos and everyone i talk to with nittos say they wear fast, but they look so sick

Thanks but no thanks for mud grapplers. I spend way too much time on the road to listen to the humming and whine of them. Also I couldn't pay that much for a tire knowing i'd get less than 25,000 miles out of it. I think Nitto's are just a noisy tired in general. I had a set of the 420s and they had a lot of road noise and didn't very smooth. I didn't even notice how bad they really were until I got my 23's. Now I have Falken Ziexes and the difference is night and day. They ride extremely smooth and have virtually no road noise, well if they do I can't hear it over all the mat I have in my truck. What kind of wheels and tires are you going to be running this time?

I just installed a 3" body lift to my 06 XLT 2wd and LOVE IT! I had the 3" rancho lift (quicklift front, add-a-leaf rear) and put 35x12.5 Mickey T's on. Lets just say uturns were rough. After the body lift, I LOVE IT. Above everyone, at height with all the SuperDuty's/.5ton w6" lifts, and I maintained the factory ride feel. I do agree the rear bumper/tow bracket is an eye sore. Let me know what you think up to rearrange that eyesore!

thats your opinion too... This is my second set. My first set was 35s now 37s and if i can get them in 40s ill get them. I absolutely love them and I dont care for the noise or the wear in them. You rotate and balance every oil change and you will get plenty of miles of out them.
