this thread came back from the dead haha. i dont think im going to buy a 42. i dont plan on spending the money on a set of 42's to only run a 20" wheel. im at a 22" now im not downgrading wheel size for just two more inches.

and now that were talking about bigger tires once again for future reference if anyone has anything to say about running a big tire on an IFS truck stay out of my thread i dont want to hear it because you have never done it nor will you ever because you listen to what everyone else says instead of just doing it yourself... okay haha.

But i just got my rear leafs in today so im going to put the truck together to get a ride height set up and do some stuff in the rear of the truck.

And no this will be a 4WD truck haha, had to sell the axle for a temporary time and im getting another one this month haha.

 

Well i like your truck it looks great i would like to see some more recent pics of it. I am wanting to lift my truck up but i am proly just gona start with a 6in lift and 35 nittos with 16in rims.

 

I also would like to see some pics with the 40's, when I was a teen it was popular to put big tires like that, now the most you see around here on a regular basis is 37's but mostly 35's

so saying your not down grading for wheel size for a 42 what do you plan on running then? Just going to stay with 40s? I think it would still look nice even with 40s and that much lift. Did you get with that guy about the other rize lift for up front or no ?

Ha- I feel you man. After having my 40's for a month...I look out the window and think, "It's really not as big as people think". If I could afford a 12" rize...I'd be right behind you.

 

im not sure on the tire size yet, i wanna keep my 40s for during the summer cruizing but i want to be able to fit a monster tire for shows. im really wanting a 46" military tire. but like i said keep my 40s for most of the driving.















theres some shots of the truck when it was last runing. now its just the truck..on stands haha.

i MIGHT take a couple shots with the 12" on next week but no promises.
