Tinted front windows is not costly.

Rear lowering shackles.

Modifying the stock intake.

Painting part or all of the stock wheels.

Re-indexing the windshield wipers.

Here's a link to the Painted Cowl
https://www.f150online.com/forums/ca...d-cowling.html

I'll be updating it this weekend hopefully.

Chrome turn signals are a good cheap mod, around $10 off ebay.

One that was cheap for me, was blacking out the badges and emblems, just a can of paint and some tape and newspaper, really made a huge difference!

Depends on your definition of cheap...

CB Radio. Less than $50.00 on Ebay for AM / SSB radio with power mic, coax, and mount. $20.00 at Radio Shack for 102" whip.

Showroom New black restorer. Not exactly a mod per se, but maintenance.

Pro Comp 130W stainless steel 6" off road lights. This is my 2nd set as the first got stolen. Set #2 was an online loss leader sale for $25.00 / pair.

K&N Drop In Air Filter. (Probably due for another cleaning).

Bug Shield

Vent Visors.

Tire Pressure monitoring valve stem caps. I got the 45 PSI models as that was the recommended pressure on the BFGs, as well as the Hercules...

New take off FX-4 / STX Grille insert. I simply did NOT like the look of the OE honeycomb grille.

ALL of these mods were under $100.00, which is cheaper than a CHEAP trip to Rockler for me...

Another one is just to paint the frame and receiver hitch, although not a "mod" it does make everything look better.

A cheap mod that I did was tinting the 3rd brake light with VHT NiteShades and then clear coating it. (about $20 shipped from Summit).

Also up grading the head light and fog light bulbs to Sylvania Silver Stars, and putting LED bulbs in the map lights, dome light, cargo lights, and plate lights

Great thread! I have most of the ones mentioned already!
How about these:
- add 12v adapter inside of center console
- interior LEDs
- auto tailgate lock/unlock (do a search)

How about mounting a Power Inverter under your dash after you extended the power outputs and mounted them somewhere below the dash to have 110 volts. I bought one for $30 at wallmart and did it.
