Just ordered my plate lights, V-leds.com didnt have the cargo lights in stock right now, so will get those once available.

How to you get to the license plate lights? From the underside (back of the lights) under the rear bumper?

Yes, it's simple.

I've done:

Gauges
License Plate
Reverse Lights
Brake Light
front turn signals
Dome Light
3rd brake light
cargo light
tailgate strip
ashtray
glovebox
HVAC

and I believe those are all the lights in my truck sans the sealed headlight switch

There's two ways to do it.

1-Reach up behind the bumper, twist on the light and remove it from the housing. There is enough wire so that you can let it hang down and change it out.

2-With a flat blade screw driver from the outside pry up the black housing that the light is in while at the same time reaching behind and compressing the clips behind it. When you get it out twist the bulb out of the housing. Just make sure you are compressing the clips behind before prying it out or it could break them off. This is what I did.

No re-wiring, it's just like replacing a normal bulb.

yeah the 04+ trucks don't have hood or glove box lights(gg Ford). That is another thing I have been thinking about adding also

By the way, I have the LED reverse lights.

As you can tell from the single plate light and head lamp glow, they look way cleaner.
what light number are those? do you think they are brighter than oem?

Their 3157, they are called 45 LED cool whites. They're much dimmer than stock bulbs. They look a hell of alot better but theres very little light glow on the ground. There is in snow but.. lol.

True, their website also says it. Nothing happens, pop the bulb out and turn it around.
