Running boards S/crew on S/Cab

I bought the running boards knowing they're for Supper Crew, but My truck is Supper Cab, But price was good and they're black so I bough them anyways, though about chopped it down to leght or some kindda mod to make them work on Supper cab,
After playing around with them I Just drilled and tapped few holds on the board, pushed it toward the front to ballance them out, and I think it doesn't look that bad or long after all what do U think?

Those look better than the ones you can buy that go all the way to the back so you can use them as a step to reach the bed of the truck.

Nice find.

Good idea with drilling and taping new holes. Did you seal the other holes?

to be honest, you could have passed them off as Scab steps and probably not a person on here would have caught it for a while

I, probably along with plenty of others, was under the impression that it could not be done. So what exactly did you do to make it work then? I guess the more and more I look at it, I can see the are longer, but it doesn't look too bad.
